Transformers isn't nearly as good, although the robots look cool. Particularly the one in the final scene, but you might've guessed that! If you haven't seen Speedracer, rent that instead. Still the ruler of all brightly-coloured action films to me.

I'm lucky since Korean movies are popular here. Smaller US or UK movies not so much!

Movie cred is over-rated! I have plans to see both GI Joe and Transformers 2, now that I've got "Moon" out of the way. Sometimes you just want to hear loud music and see things get smashed up.

And, if you mean the Korean film, no. Going to the arthouse cinema means a change of bus and travelling past two multiplexes, so I tend to wait for the dvds! Moon was very good though, so I recommend that if you can see it.

It seems that one mustn't be too enthused by SFX-driven movies, or else one loses one's movie cred. I loved Speed Racer and so already lost mine last year. :)

I've been waiting about a year for it, so I'm guessing you've seen Good, Bad, Weird? Is it as good as it looks?

"You can’t say, “The fight scenes and explosions were really cool and that evil ninja in white was awesome!"

Why not? I do!
