This photo was taken in Gifu Prefecture at the base of Mt. Kinka (金崋山・きんかざん), where you can also find Gifu Castle. The butterfly is resting on the ruins of Oda Nobunaga’s mansion (織田信長公居館跡・おだのぶながこうきょかんあと).
